They’re your shadow, your left arm, your partner in crime. Butterflies dance inside you as soon as their hand brushes and locks into yours. You hear your own heart pounding out of your chest as you’re losing your sense of time. The comforting sentiment of togetherness creates an ache from separation. You become vulnerable, unlocking secret chambers of your heart. A vacant expression fixates onto your face as you lie in each other’s arms in complete silence. Your dreams become their dreams. Constant stares and slight cringes follow your every step as you walk hand in hand in a bubble; embarking on adventures that lead you to Neverland.

Photographer, Helena Pals, transmits an artistic touch to form this beautiful love story. Captured in Stockholm during the February of few-daylight-hours, Helena’s aim is to enlighten the hidden aspect of a lost boy’s spirit. With her 1940’s Ikoflex camera, she creates static portraits of music personality, Linn Tabudlong and photo phobic artist, Erik Thulen, through dormant posture. Cropped and distressed textures de-saturated in colour, sit beside impassive features that are bathed in black and white.

Stylist and costume designer, Matilda Sandstrom brings a minimalist vision from the self-portraying marriage between her own Swedish folk roots and her lover's Tunisian Berber traditions. You are introduced to leading brands like: Acne, Our Legacy and Whyred, where classic shirts, slouchy vests and sweatshirts flow into a neutral palette accompanied by the occasional pattern of stripes.

You will be together forever, carving each other’s name into the tree.
